Lead with Impact
Leadership is built.

The difference between a title and real influence is a set of human skills AI can’t replace.
Most leadership development teaches the wrong things.
Frameworks without practice don’t change behavior. Awareness without repetition doesn’t stick. And a multi-day leadership program that sends people back to the same environment they came from rarely produces lasting change in how they lead.
FutureThink’s approach to leadership is different. Every session, course, and challenge is designed around the reality that leadership skills develop through the doing. Teams practice in real work, apply techniques to real challenges, and build the habits that make better leadership the default.
Skills your team walks away with.
Say the right thing in the right way, and make it stick.
Build teams that think better together because every voice is actually in the room.
Make faster, clearer calls without overcomplicating the process.
Sustain the energy and focus that effective leadership actually requires.
Address tension directly and turn disagreement into better outcomes.
Build a culture where honest feedback flows in both directions and changes behavior.

Storytelling With Personal Influence
Who this is for: Professionals who want to influence leadership, colleagues, and clients with confidence.
Learn how to use personal stories, presence, and communication techniques to influence leadership, colleagues, and clients with confidence.
- A stronger enterprise-wide perspective and more strategic decision-making
- Improved cross-functional collaboration
- Greater awareness of downstream impact
Navigating Difficult Conversations
Who this is for: Teams and leaders ready to approach their toughest conversations with clarity and confidence.
This interactive workshop equips learners with the mindset, tools, and techniques to approach difficult conversations with intention and impact. Participants explore what makes conversations “difficult,” uncover personal assumptions and patterns, and learn to focus on what they can control — shifting from reactive to constructive responses. Through guided exercises, role-play scenarios, and peer learning, learners practice a simple, repeatable framework to communicate clearly, build trust, and problem-solve collaboratively. Learners leave with a personalized “master plan” and practical language they can immediately apply in real workplace situations.
- Increased confidence navigating high-stakes and uncomfortable conversations
- Improved ability to stay present, regulate emotions, and respond vs. react
- Stronger relationships built through trust, clarity, and constructive dialogue
Identify Inventive Partnerships
Who this is for: Teams seeking partnerships that create new value — not just transactions.
Successful collaborations can happen anywhere — but wildly innovative partnerships require intention and strategy. Through real business examples and team-based exploration, learners identify the criteria that separate transactional collaborations from truly disruptive ones. Working in teams, participants map potential partners across three strategic spheres — within, adjacent, and beyond — generating bold partnership ideas for each. The workshop closes with teams pitching their boldest concepts and voting on the partnership with the greatest disruptive potential.
- An expanded realm of possible partners to strengthen your business
- Development of more innovative ideas through external partnerships
- Time and cost savings through shared partnerships
Collaborate Creatively
Who this is for: Teams with collaborative tools but not yet a collaborative culture.
We meet. We chat. We use digital whiteboards. But how effective are collaborative tools without a collaborative culture? In this workshop, learners explore the benefits of collaborating early and often — then practice. Using FutureThink’s Share an Idea tool, learners work in teams to generate innovative ideas for unconventional partnerships, then — before they can perfect them — switch with another group. Each team builds on the previous team’s idea to make it even better. After a series of rotations, the room is full of wildly inspiring ideas, all created with diverse input from a trusting, collaborative environment.
- Understanding of the value of sharing works in progress and soliciting input throughout development
- Unique ideas for collaboration across unexpected industries
- Practice building on existing ideas to create value and drive innovation
Power of Perspective
Who this is for: Leaders who want better decisions through diverse viewpoints — and a culture where people speak up.
Capturing new and diverse ideas is a critical part of any innovation strategy — but does your organization have an effective process for gathering new perspectives? In this inspiring session, learners examine the business imperative for seeking out different perspectives, identify strategies for systematically soliciting outside input, and pinpoint the immediate benefits for their teams. Teams then work together to address barriers to seeking new information and decrease the impact of confirmation bias — and leave with proven tactics for engaging diverse audiences and building a culture where people can better express their thoughts.
- A culture that encourages trust and solicits diverse perspectives
- Improved decision-making through gathering information from diverse sources
- Greater awareness of confirmation bias and strategies to avoid it
Embrace Feedback
Who this is for: New managers and established leaders who want to give — and receive — feedback that drives results.
Whether you’re a new manager or an established leader, this workshop reveals the power of feedback as a leadership skill. We often focus on how to give feedback — but learning how to best receive it is just as crucial. Learners explore proven methods for giving and receiving feedback, discover what makes feedback truly constructive beyond traditional positive/negative thinking, and uncover what holds them back from getting and delivering better feedback — plus the powerful opportunities for feedback that exist every day.
- Understanding of what makes feedback constructive, using FutureThink’s PPCO technique
- Recognition of confirmation bias and the role of perspective in receiving feedback
- Honest assessment of your ability to give and take feedback — and a plan to improve both
"Really insightful course — lots of food for thought, felt very appropriate for our business. Deep dives were challenging in a positive way, and all facilitators were very well prepared and able to guide discussion."
